Bit of a dull start, but that was entirely expected. Once it got going it was pretty good. Quite enjoyed it.

This film didn’t work for me. The endless face close-ups with bright backlighting and the nervous shaky-cam motion scenes gave me an eye migraine. I also didn’t feel the emotion I should have felt for the characters. It all felt forced and pretentious to me.

One of the best car chase sequences I’ve ever seen. I love the chase changes and evolves. Love how the chase has its ups and downs. Thrilling action. Awesome plot twists.
Shitty gated snare 80s soundtrack. Dance Hall Days is cool but the rest of the tracks can GTFO

Not nearly as creative as the original film. Weak plot. Bad acting. Slow pacing. Wet Hot American Summer without any of its charms.

Sure, I could rant about what McKay gets wrong and right, but this is my log, and I just want to log that this movie gives me:
+1 point of armchair Cassandra ego?
-10034 points of mental health
And all of this while I F5 the news about potentially catastrophic rains here.

Beautiful images (thanks to beautifully lit, stark black & white) make up this short about the pagan ritual of sacrificing a man to bring an end to wintertime in Sweden.
I say good luck to all involved.
