The overdubbing is so extraordinary bad that it constantly pulls you out of the movie. At first I assumed that it was “intentionally badly dubbed” like when DePalma has a campy, low budget film within the film. Unfortunately, the flaws in Special Effects seem completely unintentional
Heavy on the melodrama, but it kept me hooked.

Awesome premise. Lots of fun. Like the soundtrack.
The first act is great, but then it losses momentum. The wristwatch is fun at first, but then becomes a “get out of jail free” card for the writers. Slow boring chase scenes. Hackneyed cliffhanger ending.
Heavy on the melodrama, but it kept me hooked.
